1st Sep 2015

There are a lot of exciting developments that are in the works for this fall. Interviews for new teachers are happening now and we hope to fill the positions soon. We are researching the possibility of changing the infant and toddler room daily parent reports to an electronic feed rather than paper. While we have earned a 5-star rating from the NC Division of Child Development, we are also looking into pursuing accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Parent/Teacher Conferences will be scheduled this month. Our preschool classroom is working on planning our annual trip to the pumpkin patch. We are open to suggestions and donations for transportation to and from Youngsville. The LEA website is undergoing a facelift thanks to our volunteer parents, look for updates soon.

Clean Out Your Closet!

  • Craft Supplies. We are taking donations of left over school and craft supplies for class art projects
  • Bring a Book – Take a Book. If you have gently used books that your child has outgrown, please bring them in! We have some books that are too worn for LEA, but could find a good home with you.
  • Everything Else! We are still collecting clothes, toys, and baby supplies for Hannah’s Closet.
