We employ mature, warm and nurturing teachers and staff who understand child development needs, are able to apply their knowledge in the classroom, and who respect each child as an individual.
Our staff are equipped with college or technical degrees and/or advanced coursework in early childhood education. Continuing education is an important part of working at Little Engine Academy. Each staff member is trained in the following: first aid, recognizing communicable diseases, recognizing and preventing child abuse, child development, and teaching methods. The required number of staff are trained in CPR. Each staff member undergoes a thorough background check and proof of a physical examination is required.
